Lakers Ski Swap in Oconomowoc
Attention snow lovers! The Lake Country alpine ski team, “Lakers”, is hosting it’s annual “Ski Swap”, this Saturday, November 7th. It will take place in Oconomowoc, at the Oconomowoc High School Cafeteria. Equipment drop off is from 7:30-9:30am and the sale runs from 9:30- 1pm. Adult and youth equipment will be for sale, including alpine, cross country and snow boarding equipment. Proceeds benefit the ski team, which serves kids from all over the Lake Country area. The Lakers participate in the Wisconsin Junior Racing circuit, skiing at hills such as, Sunburst, Alpine, Devil’s Head, Ausblick, Holy Hill and Olympia. Skiers race by age status, and train in the slalom and giant slalom venues. For more information on Lakers ski team check out GRF ski shop, which coordinates the 
coaching and administration of the team. Lakers invites youth between the ages of 5 and 19 who like to downhill ski or want to learn to be better skiers to join.
An informational meeting and registration session for the new season will be held at Summerset Marine in Nashotah on Nov. 15 from 1 to 3 p.m. See you on the slopes of Lake Country!
