Waukesha County
Waukesha County is full of fun filled attractions for your entire family and is located 30 minutes from Milwaukee. Did you know that Waukesha County has 77 lakes? These lakes provide many hours of fantastic fishing, boating, swimming, skiing, sailing and beaches. In addition, you won’t need to travel far for a fireworks show on the 4th of July. Many of the lakes have their own fireworks display. What ever your lake desire, we have just the place for you. If you are an outdoorsman, you will find plenty of space in the over 200 acres Waukesha County has for riding horses, hiking, biking or just walking one of the many trails. Like the fine arts, don’t worry, Waukesha County has you covered. Located in Waukesha County you will find the Waukesha Symphony Orchestra, Carroll Players, Waukesha Civic Theatre, Waukesha Choral Union and summer outdoor concerts at the Les Paul Band Shell, which is located in Cutler Park in the City of Waukesha and lastly, Oconomowoc also has concerts at City Beach. As you can see, Southeastern Wisconsin has many outstanding restaurants from fast food to ethnic cuisine.
